The Backstory

Sigourney Tree Care is not a new business. In fact, they have been a staple in the local community for 30 years, with current owner Zeb Webb leading operations for the last six. They specialize in everything from hazardous tree removal to landscaping &property management and snow clearing.

However, despite three decades of success, the business had a problem common to many legacy companies: Zero digital footprint.

They had no domain name and no existing website. While word-of-mouth and traditional advertising had sustained them for years, Zeb recognized a shift in the market. To reach a younger demographic and compete with rival firms like Exceptional Edge, Sigourney Tree Care needed to stop hiding and start ranking.

The Challenge

The project goals were clear but ambitious:

  • Build a Brand from Scratch: Establish a professional online presence where none existed.
  • Streamline Operations: Zeb didn’t just want a brochure; he wanted a tool to make “lining up quotes” faster and easier.
  • Local Authority: The business needed to rank for keywords like “Tree Removal” and “Snow Removal” in the Sigourney and Hayesville area.

The Team 218 Solution

1. The “Fast Quote” Engine

The centerpiece of the new site is the custom quote request flow. Zeb’s primary pain point was the back-and-forth friction of scheduling estimates.

We built a dynamic “Get a Quote” engine that allows customers to:

  • Select their specific service (Tree, Lawn, or Snow).
  • Upload photos of their property directly from their phone.
  • Submit address and contact details instantly.

The Result: Zeb can now visually assess a job via a photo submission before he even starts his truck, saving fuel and time.

2. Strategic Service Silos

To maximize Search Engine Optimization (SEO), we didn’t dump all services onto a single page. Following the Agency’s “Semantic SEO” protocols, we structured the site into three distinct pillars as requested by the client:

  • Tree Care: (Removal, Trimming, Stump Grinding)
  • Landscaping: (Mowing, Property Management)
  • Snow Removal: (Seasonal contracts)

This structure allows Google to index each specific service independently, increasing the chances of ranking when a local user searches specifically for “Snow removal near me.”

3. The “Mirroring” Strategy (Local SEO)

Because the business operates out of Hayesville but serves the greater Sigourney area, the connection between the website and the Google Business Profile (GBP) was critical.

We implemented a Mirroring Strategy:

  • Entity Verification: We guided the client through verifying their Google Business Profile to ensure public visibility.
  • Product Synchronization: We configured the GBP “Products” to exactly match the website’s service pages.
  • Deep Linking: Every service listed on Google Maps now links directly to its corresponding page on the website, creating a tight “trust loop” for search algorithms.

The Outcome
