Why Team 218?

Two simple words – customer service.

Remember when businesses used to actually provide service? Back then a business didn’t act like they were doing you a favor by having you shop with them? Nobody assumed you wanted to bag your own groceries or check yourself out. Businesses provided Customer Service! It wasn’t only a courtesy to their customers. They knew their customers were essential to their survival. They also thought of customers as a part of their extended family. A trust and a bond developed between a business and its’ customers. We still operate that way. That type of service is the cornerstone of our business. Working with a vendor you feel comfortable with is an important, yet sometimes overlooked factor in getting good results. Make sure your website partner is a good fit. We have years of experience in website work and customer service. We include everything you need to make sure you have the best results possible. We are a single point of contact for all your website needs. If you ever have a problem, just let us know and we’ll take care of it. Problem solved! We would love to talk to you about any digital design & marketing needs you may have.

We love WordPress as a development platform. WordPress is the engine behind almost 25% of all websites on the internet. The large user base ensures this platform isn’t going anywhere. WordPress is rock-solid and with so many sites using it, you can be assured that any operational or security issues are fixed right away. A WordPress website isn’t just for blogging anymore. The advancements and enhancements to WordPress have brought it into the category of a solid CMS (Content Management System). The website you’re viewing right now is built on a WordPress framework!

Responsive Website Design

Responsive Website DesignLaptops, Tablets, Phones – It’s not practical to design a different web page for each of these different devices. So how do you make sure your website is accessible to all of them? Enter Responsive Website Design. Instead of needing a different page for each device, Responsive Website Design uses a bit of code known as a media query to determine the screen size of the device reading the page and then adjusts the layout of the page to match the device. Another approach is Fluid Design where the normal pixel unit of measurement is replaced by vw (viewport width) and vh (viewport height). These units of measurement represent exactly 1% of the viewport size regardless of its’ measurements. Fluid designs adapt automatically based on the size of the available screen real estate.

Social Media MarketingSocial Media Marketing has been around for a long time. We used to call it word of mouth advertising. Now though instead of 1 person telling another it can be 1 person telling 10s of thousands!

If you’re not using social media, you should be. Ideally, you should strive for consistency across all of the social media platforms you use. If your website is then you should try to use the same naming convention in social media.

For example, you would want your facebook page to be and your Twitter account to be
