Rock Island / Quad Cities KOA Campground – Website Redesign

Campground Website Design

Team 218 Web Services built the website for the Rock Island / Quad Cities KOA Campground a couple of years ago and we’ve been tweaking it ever since. We have made minor changes and adjustments to improve user experience and SEO results. We used a video loop of a campfire as a “Hero Image” to give the site a warm and unique look and that has been a bit hit. People definitely remember the site.

John & Carol

We worked closely with the owners of the Rock Island KOA Campground to create and develop a website design that showcased all the fun activities they make available to their guests. An important aspect of the site was the ability to interact seamlessly with the main KOA website which serves as the engine for reservations. This was a fun project and we enjoyed working together with the owners and management staff to create their website.

The Rock Island / Quad Cities KOA Campground, is at the center of all thats going on in the Quad City area. Rock Island KOA has RV Sites, Tent Sites and Cabins situated on 150+ acres for guests to explore, including 50 acres of lake for fishing (no license required) or boating.

Guests can enjoy a heated outdoor pool, adults-only hot tub, water spray park for all ages and a community room. The bathhouse features individual showers and dressing rooms.

Paddleboats, canoes and kayaks are available. Play mini golf for free with your own golf ball or purchase a souvenir ball. There are many shaded sites next to or near the lake. Play horseshoes, go fishing or check out the new Jump Pad. Planned activities for kids and families are scheduled for most weekends throughout the season.

Need an RV repair? On-site service is available by appointment. Other services include LP, dump station and local repair shops for gasoline and diesel engines.

If you’re planning on doing some camping, this is the place! This is the Best Campground in the Quad Cities.

How Can A Nonprofit Website Be Used To Increase Volunteer Engagement And Recruitment?

That’s The Question: How Can A Nonprofit Website Be Used To Increase Volunteer Engagement And Recruitment?

There are a number of ways that a nonprofit website can be used to increase volunteer engagement and recruitment.

First, it is important to have a solid web presence. This means having a well-designed and user-friendly website that is easily accessible and provides clear information about the organization’s mission and volunteer opportunities.

To create a solid web presence, it is important to have a website that is easy to navigate, visually appealing and includes all the important information about the organization’s mission, goals and volunteer opportunities. The website should also be optimized for search engines so that it is easy to find and user-friendly. Additionally, it is important to regularly update the website with new content, news and events to keep visitors engaged.

Another key strategy is to use interactive content to engage with potential volunteers. This can include asking questions, requesting submissions and nominations, and using polls or surveys to encourage participation from the community.

In addition, it is important to harness the power of technology to improve volunteer engagement at virtual events. This can include using customized and integrated software solutions to manage volunteer sign-ups, scheduling and communication.
