This just may be the start of something pretty cool. Port Byron’s 2nd annual Baby Blues & BBQ Fest was held Friday night July 1st. The crowd was much larger than last year and everyone there sure looked like they enjoyed the night.

5 bands took to the gazebo stage to entertain and there was some great barbecue served up by Duey’s, Harrington’s Pub, and Jimmie Lee’s. A Blues Festival with the Mississippi river as a backdrop is a pretty special thing and our prediction is that this event will keep growing and getting better each year. Small town festivals like the Baby Blues & BBQ Fest are great family events and a part of true Americana.

Kudos Port Byron!
